Friday FOSS Week in Review It’s been a busy week. So busy, in fact, I was unable to make my deadline for FWIR, so here I am with a special Saturday edition. Since then, most tech sites have been reporting on not much else. We’ll start with some good news: LibreOffice Off and Running Last week we got the news that many if not most of the development folks at OpenOffice.org have decided [...] The International Conference on Open Source (ICOS), is an annual conference hosted by Software Liberty Association of Taiwan (SLAT). One of the largest free and open source software (FOSS) community gatherings, ICOS has been being held in Taiwan since 1999. |
