Translation from the German language website:

Java has around nine million developers of the most common programming languages. And almost 20 years after its first public appearance in the future of the language is available for years: For one thing, it gets massive, relentless backing of the industry, on the other hand, it is a considerable time teaching the language number one. This means, for sustained interest, educate yourself about Java.

While there are already several international and national conferences Java on the market, but the Java land is significantly different from them. For the conference itself as “the event of the Java community for the Java community.” Underlying this is the idea that the community can actively participate in the Java land. But the organizers have the eV represented in iJUG Java User Groups invited and a program committee appointed, that also consists of representatives of this User Groups. And the community itself has the opportunity to participate in the preparation of the program.

Unusual ways commits the Java land by its venue. The amusement park Phantasialand is the Java community on both days in the used parts exclusively available. For two days, participants live in their own words “Java Land” – with the option mitzunutzen some of the attractions of the park. Nevertheless, a number of community-driven activities are planned that go beyond the fun and action, the Phantasialand offers, also. Here mention only a hacker garden, a Jeopardy! for geeks, a treasure hunt to get to know and a park jogging. Other ideas are in the works!

Ultimately expects the “colonizers” of the Java country an attractive new way to learn about the latest advances in Java development to retrain over two days and to receive important impetus for the project work. Moreover, they can exchange information with like-minded people, make important contacts and have fun. And at a price that is without equal.
