Google posted this video on their open source blog on Monday, and we didn’t think they’d mind if we passed it on to you. We figure Linus Torvalds needs no introduction, but just in case you’re new to things FOSS, here’s a little hint – he’s Tux’s father. Jeremy Allison is a computer programmer and open source supporter known for his contributions to Samba (and for quitting his job at Novell when they signed their infamous deal with Microsoft).
In this video Allison is interviewing Torvalds. It’s mainly just a couple of coders sitting around talking about an old computer model they both owned while growing up. The two were in Sao Paola, Brazil for LinuxCon.
