The openSUSE project announced that registration opened today for the upcoming Early Adopter Tech Summit which will take place in Orlando, Florida at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando Resort on March 14 and 15 at the conclusion of next year’s SUSECON. The folks behind the event would like you to register, of course, but they’d also like for you to submit a talk.

According to a release that the project issued today, there are two types of talks which are based on length, so 14 minute talks and 30 minute talks. The call for papers is open until January 15, 2025.

“We welcome submissions from anyone passionate about open source software and community development,” event planners said.

For those who are just thinking about attending (there’s nothing wrong with that, since conferences need more attendees than they need speakers), the schedule will be published in Febuary.

Organizers say to visit events.opensuse.org for more information.
