Kube Con | Cloud Native Con India 2025
Where is the event taking place, and what time zone will the event be in?
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India is an in-person event that will take place on 6-7 August in Hyderabad, India. The event will be held in Indian Standard Time (IST) – GMT+5.5.
What is the value of participating in this event?
We believe everyone will find value in joining us for the high-quality content that is expected from a KubeCon + CloudNativeCon event. Our open source communities inspire us to be resilient – to adapt and thrive with speed and consideration, immersed in the goal of bringing together a distributed group of people from around the globe. It’s in the DNA of the open source community to connect, learn and collaborate, therefore, what better place to do so than one of the premier open source developer conferences in the world?
Are there any additional events or networking I can attend?
Yes! Check the Features + Add-Ons section of the website for additional programming. Here you can find information on Experiences, Project Engagement, and Co-Located Events.
What meals will be provided for attendees?
Morning and afternoon tea and coffee and lunch will be provided on 6-7 August. There will also be an evening reception on 6 August that we encourage all attendees to attend!
Will you have vegan / gluten-free / dairy-free / Kosher / Halal, etc. meals available onsite?
We account for a portion of attendees that need vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals – these are typically readily available at all snack breaks, lunches, and receptions. No special order is required and you can indicate your preference/need during registration.
For those that need a special order meal such as Kosher or Halal, we do ask that you contact us so that we may place these orders in advance of the event. Most catering companies are unable to prepare/order these types of meals on the day they are needed as they are made in offsite kitchens. Note that we are also a peanut-free event. If you have another severe food allergy, please contact us. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your need(s).
Do you have any volunteer opportunities available?
Thank you for your interest in attending and volunteering at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon. We do not have any volunteer positions available, however, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship. Anyone may apply for the diversity or need-based scholarships. In addition, we offer an academic rate for current full-time students and faculty members.
Can I bring my child with me to my session?
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is a professional conference. If you’d like to bring your child to a session or two for a special reason (e.g. family/friend is speaking, interest in the subject) we will allow an exception but we ask for respect of the other attendees and their onsite experience. To request an exception, please contact us.
If needed, we do offer onsite child care. Please note that you must sign your child up in advance and sign-ups do close approximately one month in advance of the event.
What is the recommended attire?
There is no set dress code and, like many open source events, attendees will dress in a range, from jeans to suits. Our recommendation is business casual; jeans are acceptable. Please wear layers; conference rooms tend to get cold.
What is the policy on animals at the event?
Service animals are permitted.
