Improvements Made to ‘FOSS Force News Wire’

We’ve improved the “FOSS Force News Wire,” which gathers news from over 50 mostly FOSS online news sources and keeps them updated in one convenient place. Since we started the News Wire a couple of years ago, it’s displayed the title of the post, linked to the article, the name of the originating site and the date and time the article was published. Now, in addition, the News Wire includes a brief excerpt from the article, since we all know that headlines are often confusing.

The FOSS Force News Wire is updated every 30 minutes and can be accessed from any page on FOSS Force by clicking on the link in our navigation bar, which is located just below our masthead at the top of the page. You can also subscribe to the New Wire’s RSS feed at http://fossforce.com/newswire.
