Sold Out ‘All Things AI’ Is Livestreaming So Everybody Who Wanted to Go Can Still Be There

No badge, no problem: from whurley’s keynotes to deep‑dive engineer sessions, much of All Things AI’s lineup is streaming live for anyone who wants in.

The workshop day for this year’s All Things AI in Durham, North Carolina is one for the history books, since it happened yesterday. The traditional conference day for the event — now in its sophomore year — is today, but unless you have tickets already you’re SOL, since it’s sold out.

That’s a cryin’ shame, given that today’s morning keynotes lineup features not one, but two keynotes by whurley, who these days is founder and CEO of Strangeworks, a quantum computing-focused startup that’s located inside Austin city limits.

Also on tap for morning keynotes: Yassah Reed, a technical support engineer at San Francisco-based Intercom, which produces an AI‑driven customer service and messaging platform; Luis Lastras, director of language and multimodal technologies at IBM; and Darko Mesaros, principal developer advocate at AWS.

All of these are world class speakers, whose involvement in the tech world goes back to the days when artificial intelligence was one of those futuristic terms that described a thing that sounded darn near impossible.

I know. I know. Bummer. You tried to buy tickets and All Things AI’s website said they were all sold out, and now you’re cryin’, “Too bad. I snoozed and losed.”

Except you didn’t. You can actually watch the conference as it happens, without having to travel to Durham, pay too much for a hotel, and find out what Uber looks like in a southern mid-Atlantic state. You also won’t have to deal with the tight confines of Durham’s Carolina Theatre which will be even tighter because… well sold out, or spend hundreds of dollars to pay the price of admission.

Thanks to the resourcefulness of the folks at All Things AI, all you need is a reasonably functional phone, laptop, or desktop — and a passable broadband connection, of course — and you can have All Things AI in any room in the house you desire… even if the urge hits you to have to sit on your home’s throne you can watch and nobody will know the difference.

In other words, the All Things AI folks heard your pain, and they’re streaming everything for free!

What You See Is What You Get

It’ll be almost like being there in person, with “almost” being the key word.

Here’s what’s being livestreamed:

• Morning keynotes – 8:45 am ET
• AI Engineers track (6 sessions taking place all day) – starts at 10:30 am
• Lunchtime — AI Deep Thought Talks 1:00-2:15 pm
• End-of-Day Keynotes – 4:45 pm ET

Basically, that means that if it’s happening from anyplace that can be seen or heard from Grand Ballroom 3 — meaning the main stage — the folks at All Things AI are going to be livestreaming it for you.

After that, to watch the show all you have to do is “follow” the All Things AI LinkedIn page. After that, it should be self-explanatory.
